With the advent of Artificial Intelligence, our copyrights have become ever more confusing.  This introductory seminar will aim to unravel some of the mysteries behind copyrights and AI, while covering basic concepts of copyright law for photographers. Discussion topics will include the fair use doctrine, authorship, the idea/expression dichotomy, legal remedies, DMCA takedowns, court rulings on copyright infringement lawsuits, the “small claims” copyright court, Instagram, and where to find free legal assistance.

Registration is required to reserve your spot and receive event reminders.
