Festival Registration

Online registration to the festival has closed. Lecture tickets and passes will be available at the Lafayette Hotel beginning at 12:00pm on May 4.

Access to 2022 Festival events is included in VIP passes, festival passes, one day passes and single lecture passes. We offer generous discounts for full-time students and have a range of free events including our Open Portfolio night, photo industry seminars, exhibitions, book signings, receptions, our Pop-Up Shop, and more. If you want to attend events in person but are unable to due to financial impacts, email us, we’ll work something out.

The 2022 Medium Festival of Photography is held in-person at the Lafayette Hotel & Swim Club in San Diego from May 4-8, 2022, with live streaming options for festival lectures. Please read our COVID-19 Protocol before registration for the in-person events.

Members of Medium Photo are invited to the Keynote Lecture with Lyle Ashton Harris, and receive a discount on regularly priced registration.

VIP Pass holders are invited to all 2022 Festival events including the VIP reception and bus tour to Tijuana. VIP Pass holders receive the following:

• Complimentary admission to our hosted VIP Reception on May 7

One Day Pass

The One Day Pass gives you access to ONE of the following options:

1) Registration for all Saturday lectures including the keynote lecture with Lyle Ashton Harris, or

2) Sunday bus tour of artist studios and exhibition spaces in Tijuana, MX (valid passport required).
