Join Medium Photo in reaching our $5000 goal to fund workshop scholarships in 2023.

100% of your donation will cover the tuition for artists to attend one of six upcoming photographic workshops.

Removing significant barriers to learning is a priority of Medium Photo and helps to expand the creative community of artists who work with photography.

Want to see greater impact? If we reach $7500, we will cover lodging for any photographer who does not live near our workshop location.

Help us reach a $10,000 goal and we will include lodging and travel costs with each scholarship, or provide a $1000 stipend for materials and supplies for virtual workshops.

Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need, a portfolio submitted by each photographer, and a written statement addressing how the scholarship will advance their creative work.

I'm happy to support the launch of Medium Photo’s new 2023 workshop scholarship program. It’s wonderful to see Medium’s effort to support artists struggling to find means to further their education and ultimately their work. As an artist who has relied solely on workshops to build knowledge and a personal community, I understand the importance of these programs. I also understand there is a real need for scholarships and am glad to see Medium’s approach to address this need.
